Service-orientation in Communication and ApplicationsContentService-oriented architecture (SOA) is an architectural paradigm applied for the development of distributed systems. With the help of design principles like loose coupling and service contract it is possible to create a pool of application agnostic, reusable services. Via orchestration and choreography of such services, complex business processes can be modeled as workflows. The application of the SOA principles can improve the agility not only of applications but also of network infrastructures. They offer novel possibilities for the development of future network protocols. RegistrationApplication per e-mail until 14.04.2011 at icsy@informatik.uni-kl.de.
